COVID-19 can’t stop our matches! This match had a doorstep birthday party!

While maintaining social distance, this Little Sister delivered cupcakes and a present to her Big Sister on her birthday. They exchanged air hugs and made plans for the future!

One-to-one mentoring is a simple, prevention-based strategy to help our youth become resilient despite the adversity they endure. 

The need for one-to-one mentoring continues to rise and we need help supporting this growth.

Are you a compassionate and dedicated leader who is willing to do whatever it takes to help change children’s lives for the better? We are expanding our Board of Directors and are looking for individuals that are passionate about strengthening leadership and governance. Will you be a defender of potential? Bowl For Kids' Sake 2020 has been canceled. We appreciate the support that we have received from the community for our efforts. We will be working with individual sponsors and partners for a plan moving forward. 

In the coming months, we will have opportunities for everyone to support the work we do here at Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Black Hills. More details to come!

The South Dakota Fraternal Order of Police Chapter 2 representatives, Big Brothers Big Sisters leadership team, and the Cops Fore Kids planning committee have decided it is in the best interest of everyone involved to cancel the Cops Fore Kids Open 2020.

We care about each and every one of you and want you to be able to focus on your health and safety. Just because we are canceling this year doesn't mean we've lost anything. We are simply pressing the "pause" button on the Cops Fore Kids Open. We look forward to a great event next year!

 

The work we do is possible because of the individuals and businesses who link arms with us to help defend the potential of our Littles.
