“I would rank my match 10/10 because he [BB] is VERY supportive and kind, he is funny and knows about my allergies so when we go hunting he normally brings a couple of bars, but before bringing them, he asks what kind of bars can you have.” –Little Brother

“Whenever I can't get a good shot at the range, he makes it fun and we make a game out of it.” –Little Brother

SKATING PARTY!
We cherish the time we get to spend with our BBBBS family. Each year we get together a couple of times to celebrate. Instead of our annual Holiday Party last year, we had a SKATING PARTY early this year! Here are some great photos! While Campus Kids will not meet again this year, here are some photos from our last time together! The Young Professionals Group (YPG) spent time playing board games with our Littles.

Thank you, YPG, for a fun time!

A message to our Campus Kids Bigs

A very special thank you to April, Austin, Drake, Hellena, Joshua, Kenneth, Kiley, Leroy, Madilyn, Natalie, Nathaniel, Savannah, Sophia, and Zach. It is because of volunteers like you that BBBS is able to partner with SDSM&T and have a program like Campus Kids. You all give so much and it is greatly appreciated. I admire each and every one of you for all that you do and for what you bring to the program. I see the hard work and dedication you put into this community. It is making such a difference in the lives of the littles who attend Campus Kids and see you as role models. You show them that there is hope to have a better future and that with hard work and dedication you can become whatever you want to be. It is from the bottom of my heart that I say thank you for another wonderful semester.

Sincerely,
Graham

“Hayden respects Scott and will listen to him. He is even doing his homework because Scott encourages him.” -Parent of a Little

One-to-one mentoring is a simple, prevention-based strategy to help our youth become resilient despite the adversity they endure.

The need for one-to-one mentoring continues to rise and we need help supporting this growth.

For less than the cost of Netflix each month, you can help fight adversity and start securing a brighter future for the children in our community.

Will you help?

THIS is your call to action.
Are you a compassionate and dedicated leader who is willing to do whatever it takes to help change children’s lives for the better? We are expanding our Board of Directors and are looking for individuals that are passionate about strengthening leadership and governance. Will you be a defender of potential? Will you be a positive force for change for the children in our community? If so, email Nicole at execdir@bigmentors.com or call 343-1488.
